Herbert Lodge Arts Centre was opened in September 1991.
It promotes the cultural 
ethos
of the area /The Curragh and the County of Kildare/ and a love of music.
It has already become a centre for development of culture within its own
catchment area. Children come on a daily basis to study the music and
are taught in both the traditional and classical mode.
Herbert Lodge Arts Centre introduces pupils to music through a variety of disciplines, orchestral music, choral music, theory, musicianship and instrumental music. It's a focal point for creative activity.
Herbert Lodge Arts Centre offers:
- individual lessons in: violin, violoncello, piano,....
- take your theory lessons
- a centre for The Royal Irish Academy of Music examinations
- participation in our many concerts
- sing in our choir
- play in our orchestras
