Kildare Senior Inter-County Football Manager

Cian O'Neill is a former footballer with Moorefield in Kildare and was appointed Kildare Senior Inter-County Football Manager in 2015 . Having been a lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science in University of Limerick he was appointed as Head of Department of Sports, Leisure and Childhood Studies at Cork Institute of Technology in September 2013.

Cian was a member of Liam Sheedy's management team that won the Munster Hurling title in 2009. Following successful stints with management teams in Tipperary, Limerick, Mayo and Kerry the lure of his own county was too strong to ignore. As Cian said "Going home to Kildare is the perfect fit, it was the right time for me.”
