Artists in the Lobby presents Leinster Printmakers

The Leinster Printmaking Studio was the brainchild of Margaret Becker, stained glass artist and printmaker who, with several other artists, formed a company called the Leinster Printmaking Studio Limited in 1998, with support for capital expenditure from the Arts Council and Kelt, (Kildare Enterprise Leader Teoranta).

The L.P.S. caters for anyone with an interest in printmaking, from the beginner to the professional artist. It presently offers facilities for producing prints by intaglio, (etching and drypoint), aquatint, (an intaglio process for creating a tonal field), carborundum, (an abrasive powder made of carbon and silicon), photo-etch and photo-lithography.
