Exhibition by 5th year students from The Curragh Post Primary School

Creative Engagement Project with artist Paul Woods

This exhibition is a culmination of a Creative Engagement project involving the 5th year students from the Curragh Post Primary School and visual artist Paul Woods.  The students were encouraged to explore their inner and outer selves through the use of cut-out silhouettes of their profiles combined with an imaginative use of symbolism that illustrates their individuality. The individual pieces were then set against a background setting and environment of their choice.  The project focused on perceptions and the dichotomy of the public-private persona.
