LULLYMORE HERITAGE & DISCOVERY PARK

DURATION: 26 weeks - recruitment ongoing

COURSE AIM: On completion of the course the participants will have gained valuable experience in tourist and/or horticultural/construction related employment. Through a series of practical projects, they will develop the necessary skills which will assist them in gaining employment in these industries.

COURSE CONTENT: Tourism (customer care, guides), horticulture, construction, stonework, life and social skills and thatching.

TRAINEE METHOD: 26 weeks of formal training with a heavy reliance on "hands on" practical training coupled with related subjects.

TRAINEE PROFILE: Unemployed people with an interest in learning new skills, engaging in practical projects and working as a team member.
