Kimmages of Caragh, Naas

Interested in hearing from anyone connected to the Kimmages of Caragh, Naas, Newland, Kilcullen, Kilkisheen and general vicinity.

My great great grandparents Richard Kimmage and Mary Nowlan married at Newbridge 1828.  Great grandmother Eliza Kimmage was born Caragh 1834.  She and cousins Catherine and Margaret came to Australia in 1854.  Some descendants went to US, others to Liverpool, England.  Mary, Lawrence and John Kimmage followed to Australia in 1860s.

Interested in hearing from any descendants of this family and thoughts on the origin of the name (notwithstanding the Dublin suburb of the same name).
