The late Private Morrin, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, Naas

It was with deep regret that the news became known in his native town of Naas, of the death in action of Private Matthew Morrin, of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers. Prior to enlisting deceased resided with his sister, Mrs. Higgins, at Rathasker Road. He was on active service for over twelve months, and had experienced some of the hottest battles during the period. Of a quiet and unassuming disposition his untimely demise is deeply regretted amongst his lifelong friends and comrades in Naas. To his bereaved sister deep and general sympathy goes out in the great sorrow which has befallen her.
