by ehistoryadmin on November 20, 2018

As people protested against conscription and World War 1 came to an end, life continued as normal in Newbridge. In an illustrated talk, Raphael Ryan will look at what people got up to in Newbridge during these last twelve months of the war…marriages, auctions, garden fetes, appearances before the Petty Sessions, the effects of the ‘flu and much more.

This talk will take place in RYSTON on Wednesday 21st November at 8pm.
