Mr. Peter Bolger, Bodenstown, Sallins, who died on Monday aged 81 was a veteran of the First World War.

Native of Sallins, he returned in 1919 after four years war service and joined the staff of Sallins Railway Station where he worked until his retirement about fifteen years ago.

He is survived by two sons, Mr. Chris Bolger, Sallins, and Mr. John Bolger, Derry; by two daughters, Mrs. J. Holt, Bodenstown and Mrs. P. Smullen, Bodenstown. Interment was in Bodenstown Cemetery.
