Dublin choir in Kildare  

A Carol Service, with the Choir of Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin, under the direction of Mr. A. T. McKiernan, F.R.C.O. will be held in St. Brigid’s Cathedral, Kildare, on Wednesday, December 30th, at 8 p.m. The Choir will sing the Recitative “And there were shepherds,” and the Chorale “Break forth, O beauteous heavenly light,” from The Christmas Oratorio, by J. S. Bach, and such Carols as “Gabriel’s Message,” “The Carol of the Crib”, Lullaby Lord Jesus”, and “All sons of Adam (The Christmas Medley)”.

There will be opportunities for participation by the congregation in well-known Christmas hymns and Carols. The preacher will be the Archbishop of Dublin, the Most Rev. Dr. G. O. Simms. The collection will be in aid of the Cathedral New Lighting Fund.
