All About Ann's Playschool

PLAYSCHOOL ROOM

Here the children prepare for school while still learning through play. Each of the children's developmental skills are encouraged in this room. These skills include physical, intellectual, language, emotional and social skills and as much work as possible is done with the children in order to promote these skills.

The last term of the year we introduce some educational books suitable for playschool in order to prepare the children cognitively and academically for Primary School and also for the new experiences they will encounter.

Letterland is also introduced to the playschool children in their last term to familiarise them with this method of learning. It is designed to make the children more comfortable and secure in their new surrounds in Primary School.
