What do I need to use to use this service?

• You will need your Customer ID which is the 7 digit number on your Invoice beginning with "10".  This can also be attained by ringing the Pay-by-Use Section at 045 980654
• You will need a valid Visa/Delta, Mastercard or Laser Card

How to use this service

What kinds of cards can I use?

The following types of credit/debit card can be accepted: -

• Visa/Delta
• Mastercard
• Laser

How much are Bin Tags?

From 1/1/2008 Bin Tags for the 140 litre bin are €5.50 each and a minimum of 5 tags (€27.50) must be purchased when buying online

From 1/1/2008 Bin Tags for the 240 litre bin are €8 each and a minimum of 5 tags (€40) must be purchased when buying online

How long will it take to get my Bin Tags?

Bin Tags will generally be dispatched within 2 working days from when the payment is made.

What if I want to pay my fixed charge and buy Tags?

When one payment has been completed you will be returned to this page where you can then choose to make another payment. Each transaction is processed separately.

What if I need a new/replacement bin?

There is a €35 fee for replacement domestic waste and recycling bins. This can be paid using the "Order Replacement Bin" link above or by phoning our automated telephone service on 045-980444. Alternatively you can forward a cheque to the Cash Office, Kildare County Council, Aras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare, please ensure you include contact details.  It will take approximately 10 working days for your new bin to be delivered.  You will be contacted by our Environment Department prior to this to arrange delivery.

What about privacy and security?

All financial transactions are processed by Realex, a third party Internet financial service which provides a secure environment to protect your transactions.  Your credit/debit card information is not transmitted outside the secure site.

How do I claim Tax Relief for Refuse Payments?

• In order to claim tax relief in respect of your local authority service charges, you must have:
  Paid all local authority service charges in full and on time for the previous calendar year
• Arrears from earlier years must be cleared in accordance with local authority conditions
• You must advise your local authority of the PPS Number of the person who is liable for the charges. This can be done by completing the PPS Number textbox on the Refuse Payments form when making your payment.
