About Finance The Finance Department is responsible for the short and long-term financing of the Council's operations, both of a Revenue and Capital nature. Responsibilities include preparation of the Annual Budget, Annual Financial Statements, Revenue Collection, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Rates.
