The Jack & Jill Children's Foundation, Johnstown, Naas, has launched an appeal to recycle unwanted mobile phones.
The Foundation provides home respite to families with children up to the age of 4, with brain damage requiring extensive medical and nursing care at home.
They are also asking people to donate old PCs and laptops, inkjet cartridges and mp3 players.
The Foundation has linked up with Irish waste recyclers Folamh, who will contribute funding for the Foundation for all goods recycled .
Folamh will provide free collection boxes, freepost stickers and envelopes. Large loads will be collected by van.
If you would like to start helping the children cared for by the Foundation, call Ergo on 1850 525 545 and ask for Jenny or Catherine. Alternatively email Jenny at jenny@folamh.com
