A number of Kildare companies have recently received letters from a company calling themselves Internet Register Ireland.
The letter has a form attached which you are asked to use to place a chargeable order with them for a listing in their database.
If you complete and send off this form you will be liable to pay €958 for the privilege of being listed on their website, and will be committing yourself to a 3 year contract.
This company is based in Germany, and has no connection with the Irish Domain Registry.
We would recommend the bin as the best place for these letters, unless you consider €958 to be good value for listing an Irish company on a German website.
