The IEDR has issued a statement regarding a German Company, Internet Register Ireland, that is sending letters and faxes to .ie domain name holders offering them to register their domain name in their database for the excessive fee of €958.
This company will request you to fill out their form and return it to them signed.
The IEDR points out that no such organisation has been authorised to act on behalf of the IEDR. They recommend that you disregard this letter.
Kildare Web Services, a local .ie domain name Reseller, is advising its customers to disregard this letter and to be aware of this type of activity.
The IEDR recommend that .ie domain name holders should contact an official IE Reseller if they require any further Internet services for their website.
