Line Up confirmed for Bridgestone Motorcycle Expo

Mondello motorcycle expo 2011 In only its second year, Mondello Park's Bridgestone Motorcycle Expo is already building into one of the biggest motorcycle events on the Irish calendar, as traders and motorcycle manufacturers confirm their participation in the May 29th event.

Having begun last year with four manufacturers on board this year's event has already outstripped that with five makes confirmed and more still in the pipeline. BMW, Honda, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha, will all be represented at the 2011 event, where they will show off their latest motorcycles. The Trade area was a major part of last year's show and this section is also set to grow with bookings already up by 25% on last year with two and a half weeks still to go to the Expo.

The most important part of the show for most visitors is the non-stop live action, whether it is on the main Mondello Park track or in the Off-Road section. More details of the track activity have now been confirmed with two races for 'Bridgestone Cup' competitors heading the bill. These races will be only be open to Supersport and Superbike riders who normally compete in the 'Cup' class of the Adelaide Masters Series where competitors must run on Bridgestone tyres.

Adding a less serious but no less competitive aspect to the track action this year will be two races for Honda Fifty type motorcycles. The races will be open to riders from the annual 'Nifty Fifty' charity endurance race where any 'Step-Through' motorcycle up to 90cc is allowed. These racers will take to the track twice for what may be two of the slowest but also two of the most entertaining races ever seen at Mondello Park.

With new additions to the exhibitor and live action line-up being added every day, further information on the 2011 Bridgestone Motorcycle Expo will continue to be announced as the show date approaches.
