Dawn Approach on course for Keeneland Phoenix Stakes

curragh-logo
Europe’s top two year old Dawn Approach is still on course for the 110th running of the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes, which takes place at the Curragh on Sunday 12th August

Trainer Jim Bolger has said that his intention is to run the Coventry Stakes winner but a final decision will depend on the ground.  A majority share in the unbeaten son of New Approach was recently purchased by Godolphin.

Aidan O’Brien who is looking for his 12th success in the Group 1 contest has Cristoforo Colombo, Leopardstown maiden winner Forester, Parliament Square and Alfonsa De Sousa among his entries, while Kevin Prendergast who won the race last year with La Colina has Roseraie, Starbright and the unraced Mooqtar.
