Members of Monasterevin Athletic Club, who attended the Sponsorship Presentation in Monasterevin Credit Union recently. The presentation was made by Maureen O Meara, Chairperson Monasterevin Credit Union.
Maureen stated that she was delighted to see the Athletic Club was as strong as the day it started back in 2000 and that she was delighted to see that some members were off to the Isle of Man shortly to compete in the Isle of Man Grand Prix of Race Walking.
They are Ashling Spain and Tara Ging U/14 1500m. Orla Nolan and Ciara Sinden U/13 15oom. Carol & Amy Burtenshaw U/23 5000m. Maureen O'Meara congratulated the girls on their success and wished them every success in the Isle of Man.
