The Irish Peatland Conservation Council will be hosting the first of their new wildlife and habitats field study workshops for 2011 on Thursday 10th of March.
The workshop entitled 'Nature in your Neighbourhood' will provide for participants ideas to help promote the wealth of biodiversity within their communities and gardens.
The workshop will include a tour of the gardens at the Bog of Allen Nature Centre, showcasing some ideas that could be put into action by workshop participants.
This half day workshop will be suitable both for individuals who are involved in community groups or for those who would like to increase the biodiversity within their own private garden.
The workshop will be from 9.30am-1pm at the Bog of Allen Nature Centre, Lullymore Co. Kildare and will cost €30 per participant.
