The Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) organise and administer the processing or supply of blood derivatives or other blood products, including blood group and other tests in relation to specimens of blood received by the Board.
The primary objective of the IBTS is to provide sufficient quantities of the highest quality blood components to hospitals.
