Volunteer Mentor Opportunities
Le Chéile Mentoring & Youth Justice Services is a child-centred, non-judgmental service which recruits and trains volunteers from local communities to work with young people and their families involved in Young Person’s Probation.
Le Chéile is currently looking for men and women in the North Kildare area to become:
Young Person Mentors
A Le Chéile youth mentor is a role model who through weekly meetings supports a young person to make positive choices.
Activities could include, cinema, eating out, snooker, evening classes, etc. or simply chatting with and guiding them with issues affecting their lives.
Activity costs will be covered.
Parent Mentors
As a parent mentor you can help a parent through a difficult period in their life and help them to make positive changes in their home.
