Athy Town Council published the Draft Athy Development Plan 2012-2018 on the 29th March last and commenced a ten week public consultation period and members of the public and interested organisations are being invited to make submissions and observations.
A public information day will take place on Thursday, 12th May next in the Town Council Offices, Rathstewart, Athy between 2pm and 6pm, where members of the Council's staff will be available to assist anyone with queries regarding the plan.
Copies of the plan are also available for inspection at the Council's offices; Athy Library; Kildare County Council (Planning Department- Naas); and also online at www.athytowncouncil.ie
The closing date for receipt of written submissions is 4pm on Tuesday, 7th June.
