Summer Stage performing arts camp returns to locations across Kildare this July and August for another summer of fun! Running from 10am-3pm Monday to Friday, Summer Stage involves singing, dancing, drama and theatre games for boys and girls aged between 4 and 13 years.
Spend a week making friends, having fun and building confidence through learning about performing. The camp culminates in an end of week performance which participants receive a free DVD of!
Now in its fourth year, Summer Stage is run by Evelyn Purcell, a native of Naas and an experienced drama teacher who studied Drama at Trinity College Dublin before training in Musical Theatre at Guildford School of Acting in the UK.
Dates and Locations are as follows:
Naas Community Centre July 1st-5th, July 8th-12th, August 19th-23rd
Scoil Diarmada, Castledermot August 12th-16th
Confey College, Leixlip July 22nd-26th
The cost is €80 per child with family discounts available.
Summer Stage Teen Workshop
Also, new for 2013 is Summer Stage Teen Workshop, a concentrated and advanced form of Summer Stage running for a week in June in Naas for older performers between 13 and 16 years. This workshop is perfect for those who love performing, but have outgrown the traditional camp format. Practice songs and scenes from musicals, dance to chart hits and show off your skills at an end of week performance for parents and friends!
Running from 12-3pm daily, the cost is €55 per person, with family discounts available.
