From July 19th - 25th Monasterevin will host the 21st Gerard Manley Hopkins Literary Festival. Each year, since 1987, scholars and lovers of Hopkins's poetry have come from all over the world to Monasterevin to celebrate the work of Gerard Manely Hopkins.
This year the festival has announced a unique Youth Programme which runs parallel and interacts with the Hopkins Festival. Programme highlights include workshops, film screenings, a visit to N.U.I.
