County Kildare Orchestra is delighted to announce that our Christmas Concert will take place in St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge, on Saturday 18 December at 8.15pm, with the kind permission of Fr. Paul Taylor, PP.
The programme will feature Mozart’s Impresario Overture, Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony along with Barber’s popular and much-loved Adagio for Strings, plus festive
favourites.
We are particularly delighted to have St. Patrick’s Church Choir performing with us, as well as our usual soloist, tenor Ciarán O’Leary. Ciarán is joining us from London, where he is undertaking further studies in voice in the Guildhall School of Music. Young local clarinettist, Christopher Moriarty-Pearson will perform the 2nd movement from Mozart’s beautiful Concerto for Clarinet.
In light of the current economic situation, ticket prices have been reduced this year to €10. This reflects CKO’s continuing mission to perform the greatest music to the widest audience.
