The Kildare Community Partnership Ltd, in conjunction with FAS, provides a range of training programmes and related supports for people who are unemployed or those seeking to re-enter the workplace.
The Kildare Community Partnership now wishes to recruit an ASSISTANT COORDINATOR for the Athy Technology Project.
The ideal candidate will have a JEB Qualification or equivalent. He or she will have a high level of experience and skills in delivering Information and Communications Technology Training.
In addition the successful candidate will demonstrate his/her capacity to engage with trainees on a one to one basis and to support the development of their personal and social skills.
A track record in administration of a similar project would be an advantage.

Job Description
The Co-ordinator will be responsible for the day to day running and continued development of the project. He/she will liaise with The Kildare Community Partnership’s Life Options Programme Manager.
This Programme forms part of a series of progression paths / supports available to assist clients of the Action South Kildare to enter the workforce, and as such, a person-centred and innovative approach is required.
Salary €25,552 p.a.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ultimately responsible for smooth running of the project on a daily basis.
- Monitor budgets, expenditure, cashflow, record-keeping and general administration with the support of the Assistant Co-ordinator
- Delivery of IT tuition to trainees to certified standards with the support of the Assistant Co-ordinator
- Planning and organising of additional training inputs / field trips to ensure the development of a comprehensive range of skills and abilities among trainees
- Organisation of work experience for trainees with the support of the Assistant Co-ordinator
- Supervision and support of trainees
- Regular 1-1 career path planning sessions with trainees
- Supervision of work, and liaison with, Assistant Co-ordinator
- Work with participants to procure appropriate work experience / placements to match the individual’s work profile
- Develop employer-based training plans in conjunction with participant and employer
- Continuous monitoring and evaluation of participants during external work placement
- Maintain contact with employers during work experience / placement
- Maintain records of participants progression
- Preparation of FAS QA58/01
- Completing FAS monitoring forms.
- Completing Scope forms for the sponsor on a monthly basis.
- Completing certification paperwork.
