Parade Participants Needed

Hi Everyone,

We, on the Kildare Derby Festival Committee, would like to follow on the success of last years wonderful parade with another fun-filled and colourful event this year. The parade is being held on Sunday the 19th of June.  Entrants will be assigned different areas of the town to assemble in depending on the type of parade entry they have i.e. groups of people, motor vehicles etc.

Entry into the parade is free and it is a great way to advertise your business by entering a float, driving your van/car with your logo or distributing leaflets as you make your way through the streets in the parade. The more the merrier!!!  The parade is being co-ordinated by Mary Kavanagh and she can be contacted for entry forms on 087-6242051.  If you cannot reach Mary as she will be extremely busy coming up to festival time, alternatively, you can contact the office on 045-521000 or any other committee members would be glad to help.

If you have any questions or inquiries or would like to reach us on the net you can do so by email at kildarederbyfestival@eircom.net.  As we have already said the more the merrier so no matter how small or large a group you have we can accommodate you so don't be discouraged.  Every entry will add to the success of the parade.

From all on the Derby Festival Committee
