You are invited to the launch of a solo exhibition Be-Longing by Marta Golubowska, recipient of Kildare County Council Arts Centre Emerging Artist Award 2016.
The project 'Be-Longing' is a result of feelings of alienation and isolation that she has experienced as a result of moving away from the country of her birth.
She is particularly interested in the links between identity and people's homes, their community and their language and how the boundaries of identity are altered when your affiliation with these fundamental elements is fractured.
Her artwork is primarily collaborative and involves shared experiences with the people around her.
