Ballitore, a Quaker village during the Rebellion of 1798
A remarkable blow-by-blow account of the rebellion in the village of Ballitore and the surrounding area, was recorded by Mary Leadbeater in her diary and published later under the title 'The Annals of Ballitore''.
Historian Mario Corrigan brings this tragic tale to life in the very house where Mary, the village postmistress, lived.
