Hook Species

One of the most common questions we are asked as divers is “What can you see down there?” Without a doubt one of our favourite shore diving sites is Hook Head which has an abundance of sea life to observe. Along with some of the more common fish such as cod, pollock, ballon and cuckoo wrasse, dog fish and mackerel you can also see species as shown below which were all photographed over a single weekend just under the Hook Light House.
