Diving Malinbeg the 2015 June bank holiday was something of an uncertainty in the previous week with horrendous weather forecast but having booked accommodation we were travelling and willing to take whatever the prevailing weather allowed. We were therefore pleasantly surprised to get two great dives off Carrigan Head on the Saturday before having to retreat to Malinbeg Bay to dive the stack on the Sunday. It was a relaxing weekends diving and thanks to Paul O’Hare, Aras Ghleann Cholm Cille who looked after us so well.
The wild Atlantic batters the coast line.
Malinbeg Harbour and those famous steps that ensure you stop half way up to admire the view! 🙂
This small Monkfish made a guest appearance on the dive at Carrigan Head.
This lamb grazing on the cliffs above Trabane Bay is probably looking forward to the end of spring?
