A committee of 16 dedicated and committed people are in the process of setting up a youth club in Monasterevin. It is 19 years since this type of facility has been available to the youth of Monasterevin and now is the time to give something back to the youth. One big problem that the committee have is the lack of premises; they appeal to the public for help in sourcing suitable premises in Monasterevin.

St. Patricks Day Parade

A meeting will be held in the Day Care Centre on April 3, at 8.30pm, to organise the St Patrick's Day parade. Anyone interested in helping please come to the meeting.

Teenagers between 13 and 18 will have a chance to visit Lexington in Virginia next July under an Exchange Programme that is being organised by the County Kildare Twinning Committee. There are only 16 places available and if selected you will leave Dublin on July 7 and be the guest of an Ameican family for 10 days.
On July 17, you will return with your new American friend and welcome them to Ireland with the help of the County Twinning Committee.

A Table Quiz will be held in aid of the school's educational needs. Quiz will be held in the School Gymnasium on February 10, at 8pm. €40 for a table of four.

They are asking you to mix it up again this year by hosting an Odlum’s Pancake Party. The money raised from this year's party will go towards helping sick children receive the best possible care in the National Children's Hospital, Tallaght.
