The local golf society are having their final outing of the year this Saturday in Mountrath Golf Club. The Society have once again had a very successful year with Pat Ryan at the helm as Society Captain. The new Captain for next year is Sean Dunphy. The outing this week is a 3 person scramble, a team event, the one and only team event of the year. This is a very enjoyable and competitive format and is looked forward to every year. The prize ceremony will be in Mooneys Bar later that evening. There will also be the presentation for the prestigious player of the year award on the night.
