Under 12 Kynog United V Prosperous

Overnight rain had left Kynog park in perfect condition for this local
derby and neither team disappointed. The opening minutes were very even
until the 13th when a super ball from johnny byrne released adam lynch who
lobbed the ball over the advancing keeper to take the lead.Prosperous came
back very stong and on twenty minutes got there deserved goal from jamie
doyle. They kept up this pressure and took the lead through james ansell 5
minutes later and kept this till half-time.Kynog raised there game second
half and with good build up play from jamie adams who found adam lynch and
his superb finish leveled the scores.10 minutes into the half adam thoman
made it 3-2 to the home side scoring directly from a corner but this was
held onto for only 3 minutes as prosperous leveled it again. with both
sides pushing for the win it was unfortunate for the visiting side that
they conceded an own goal to give kynog the points despite some good
performances in particular from sean keogh in defence. The home side had
joey thoman in goals to thank for an excellent performance ensuring all 3
points.
