After a closely fought first half it was Kynog Red who
pulled away in the third quarter to secure the victory.
 
Kynog Red opened the scoring with a goal from Ryan Murrin.
Fantastic goalscoring displays from both Liam Brady with
four and Ger O'Connor with three completed the scoring for
Kynog Red.
 
Two goals from Alex Kilmurray in the first half kept Kynog
White in touch for much of the game with Jamie O'Brien also
scoring for Kynog White.
 
Kynog Red would have had a few more if not for the
goalkeeping of Cian Loughlin in the Kynog White goal.
 
In the end it was Kynog Red's strong third and fourth
quarter performances that saw them run out deserved winners.
