Sallins made the trip to Kynog  Park in Timahoe and after all the bad weather and postponed matches it was like starting the season all over again for both teams, Overcast conditions did not stop both teams putting in an excellent display of football .   The large crowd were well entertained and both teams are a credit to their clubs as the game was played in a very friendly but competitive manner and the passing combinations of both teams was great to see.

The match stated with Sallins bossing midfield with David cluxton Curley and Tom Dunne and only the alert lee Dempsey kept sallins out. after 7 minutes Kynog took the lead with Joseph Kenny passing to Darragh lynch who spotted Dean Bowers whose pinpoint pass was dispatched by the rock Dylan Donoghue. Kynog were now on top and goals from Dean Bowers and two from Brian McGrath gave them a 4-o lead at half time. The second half saw Adam cully come on with Gerry melia and they made an impact straight away to set McGrath up for his hat trick. Sallins to their credit did not give up and they scored a great lob from Tomo carlile and a penalty dispatched from Killan Keegan had them back in it. Some changes from Kynog with the Lynch brothers of Darragh and Adam linking up to see Darragh get two goals and the game was safe. Kynog were well served by Jack Byrne and David Lee with man of the match performances from Eoin Kelly who blocked a few certain goals and there Captain Ade Teriba.
