Match Report Under 9 Kynog United V BBC

it was a lovely sunny morning as both teams got ready for what everyone agreed would be a great match.
From kick-off Kynog took control of the ball and mid-fielder Jack Gorey headed straight down to the BBC goals and shot the ball pass the BBC backs but was saved by BBC's keeper.
BBC's mid-fielders fought hard to get by the Kynog Defenders Ciaran Walsh and Steven Burke who would steal the ball and pass it up to the Kynog's mid-fielders.
Eleven minutes into the match and Steven Burke kicked and great ball up to Jack Gorey who worked his way up to the BBC goals and scored the first goal of the match.
BBC worked hard to get the ball up to Kynog's keeper Catherine Fallon but found it hard to score with the Kynog Defenders on their backs, and with mid-fielders Keith Donohoe, Anthoney Farrell and Captain Jack Gorey on the attack.
As the whistleblew for half time the score was still 1-0.
Both teams stepped up their game for the second half, each team fighting hard to gain control of the ball.
Eight minutes into the second half and Anthoney Farrell worked the ball through mid field to Adam Montgomery who scored another goal for Kynog.
It seemed Kynog could do no wrong when Jack Gorey broke through the BBC's defenders and scored his second goal of the match.
Followed by another great goal from Kynog's Keith Donohoe four minutes later.
throught out the second half both Kynog and BBC showed some great team work and five minutes before the end of the match Jack Gorey scored another goal achieveing his hat trick and bringing the final score of 5-0.
with great credit going to both teams, and man of the match going toKynog's Captain Jack Gorey.
