Sadly, the final score does not reflect the effort that Kynog put in against a more experienced team made up completely of U8s. The first half was fairly even, although the experience of the Arlington players showed and although Kynog were under pressure for spells, they competed well and managed to break out a few times but went into half-time 2-0 down. The second half saw Kynog under pressure for most of the half as the younger players tired, but the encouraging part was that no-one gave up and they continued to hold out before conceding 4 goals in a 5 minute period right at the end of the match. After only 3 weeks training there were some very encouraging signs for the future and Kynog can  look forward to scoring our first goal and recording their first win.
