The Lions Club Organisation is the largest charitable organisation in existence. There are in excess of 150 Clubs in just about every town in Ireland serving the needs of Local and National Charities and Organisations.
A completely voluntary Organisation, the Motto of Lions Clubs is 'We Serve'. This Ethos is applied in actions not just words through countless projects arranged in order to support worthy causes. Most important is that 100% of all monies raised goes to identified causes.
Athy Lions Club has been serving for 40 years raising over €1 million for good causes. This work continues actively today, especially with community needs even greater that ever.
Current Activities:
Athy Lions Club meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Clanard Court Hotel.
