Sympathy

Our sincere sympathy is extended to Margaret Kane and her family on the recent death of her mother Mrs Catherine Butler. May she rest in Peace.


Auction

Don’t forget that there will be an Auction on the 11th April in the Community Centre, Coill Dubh.  This auction is in aid of future developments in the Timahoe area including the Personal Alarms for the elderly.  Viewing starts at 10am, with the Auction starting at 1pm.  Anyone with items to donate can contact Terry @ 863550, Mick @ 863574 or Bernard @ 863676.


First aid course

There will be a First Aid Course starting on Monday 15th March at 8.30pm. in the Tir na Mona Offices (beside Bord na Mona weighbridge).  Enrolment takes place on Wednesday 10th at 8pm. in the same place.   The course operates on a first come first served basis and there are only 20 places available.  The cost per head is 25.  If interested please contact Mick @ 863574.


Parachute Jump?

A parachute jump in aid of Timahoe Development Association will take place sometime in the near future.  At present we have eight brave jumpers, who are going to take the plunge.  They are Frankie Smyth, Brendan Brown, Aine Brown, Packie Curtin, Edward Reilly, Billy Doran, Jonathan Doherty and Mick Deacy. All the jumpers will be calling around to collect sponsors in the near future, so show them how much you respect their bravery. Keep your eyes peeled to this page for further details.


Parents Association

The Parents Association of Timahoe National School are trying to raise funds for much needed computer equipment for the school.  In order to do this they are holding a number of fund-raising events over the next couple of months.  On Friday 12th March there will be a Card Night in Peter’s at 9pm sharp and on Sunday 14th March at 12pm there will be a Sale of Work in the school.  The school will be open the week before in order to receive any items you which you would like to donate or the items can be dropped off to Ann Smith, Clare Kelly or Pat Flaherty.  Friday 9th April at 9pm sharp, there is a Quiz Night.   If the quizzes that were held before are anything to go by, then your in for a great night.  For more information phone Pat @ 863701.
