going reasonably well at the moment with Kevins having won 2 and lost 2 to-date.
Training going well all leading up to The Championship.
Minors have also won 2 and lost 2. Nice to see Brian Dunne making the final county
Nice to see St. Kevins getting two important Intermediate C/ship fixtures in our
field this year. Robertstown v Castlemitchell and the winners to play Clogherinkoe
(both in Staplestown).
The launch of our fund-raising project re: building etc. went off very well and with Co.
Board Chairman, Jack Wall, Co. Sec. Richie Whelan, Co. Development Officer, John McCarthy,
Bernard Durkin, T.D., P.J. Sheridan (Councillor) in attendance together with our special
guest "Marian Finnucan" (of RTÉ fame) the night went very well indeed. With the
"press" represented by Tommy Callaghan (Leinster Leader) and John Roddy the
whole occasion gave a clear picture of the high esteem in which St. Kevins are held.
Up-coming fund raising events include a Golf-Classic, coming up soon (details later).
The club would like to wish Niall Carew a speedy recovery from his recent operation to
clear an injury received whilst hurling on "Patricks Day".
We would also take this opportunity to wish continued success to our members hurling well
for Kildare in the current league campaign, Noel Casey, Niall Carew, Tom Carew and James O

There will be an Easter Parade in Naas this Easter Sunday. The
parade this year promises to be a very colourful one with a Beat on the Street
afterwards. The parade starts at approx. 12pm and goes from the Dublin road, up
through the town and finishes at Fair Green. Remember if you are going be aware of
traffic restrictions along the Main Street.
