September Mona Newsletter

_____________September Editorial____________

Autumn is with us again.  Back to school, dark nights.  A good time to think of doing a course or maybe a night-class. We in Tir na Mona will be looking for people to participate in personal development courses - contact any committee member - if you are interested. Well! we are still continuing with our Legal Status process.  This will take a bit of time to sort out. Congratulations to all who worked so hard to make our Wild West Jamboree such a success - pity about the weather on the night. Well done Kildare on winning the Leinster Final and also the All Ireland Semi - Final.  We wish them the best of luck in the All Ireland Final. A.G.M.  time is with us again and we would welcome as many people as possible to attend our Tir na Mona A.G.M. in Peter's Pub Timahoe on Wednesday 23rd September at 8.30.  Please come along and support.

Chairman

Up Kildare

The weekend saw great things for sport in Kildare and in Ireland.  Kildare won their Semi-final match against Kerry and Eddie Jordan's cars came 1st and 2nd in the Belgian Grand Prix.  The celebrations in Clane on Sunday night were out of this world, with hundreds of supporters lining the main the street of Clane.   C.K.R. had their Roadshow at the church of Clane and the music carried on until 11.30.   There were people of all ages there and for the majority of the time there was no trouble.  Let's hope we will do the same again in the four weeks time.
