____________ March Editorial _____________
Dolores Kennedy, Chairperson

The " Friends of Donadea Forest " Public Forum held in St Kevin's Clubhouse Staplestown on Tuesday 26th February was an outstanding success. The ideas and suggestions for the future use of the yard, tower, walled gardens and out buildings will be taken on board by the group. I would like to thank the " Friends of Donadea Forest " committee for organising this forum. Their efforts, at long last, may be about to pay off.

BEATITUDES FOR FRIENDS OF THE AGED

Blessed are they who understand
My faltering step and trembling hand

Blessed are they who looked away
When I spilt the cup of tea today

Blessed are they, with a cheery smile
Who stopped to chat for a little while

Blessed are they who never say
"You told that story twice today"

Blessed are they who know the ways
To bring back memories of yesterdays

Blessed are they who make it known
That I am loved and not alone.

THINK

Pray don't find fault with the man who limps,
Or stumbles along the road.
Unless you have the shoes he wears
Or struggle beneath his load.

For there may be tacks in his shoes that hurt,
Though hidden from view.
And the burden he bears, placed on your back,
Might cause you to stumble too.

Don't be harsh with the man who sins,
Or pelt him with words or stones.
Unless you are sure. Yes, doubly sure,
That you have no sins of your own.

For you know perhaps if the tempters voice.
Should whisper as soft to you.
As it did to him when he went astray,
It might cause you to stagger too.
