Woodlands Golf Club - Captains Drive In

The excitement is rising at the prospect of the Captains Drive In, on the 14th March followed by a Ball Mixed Scramble. How Noel O’ Connor and Mary Cradock will make their entrance remains to be seen but the anticipation and expectation is rising.


St. Patrick's Day

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the club is running a 9 Hole Club Competition but don’t forget to celebrate the shamrock. The official golfing season starts on the 20th & 21st March with the first 18 Hole competition.


Ladies Club

Our Ladies Club take part in their first Inter Club Competition match for the Mail on Sunday, on the 6th March in Kilteran and we wish them the best of luck.


Expanding For ’99

The expansion programme at Woodlands Golf Club is continuing at a great rate with the planting of over a thousand trees on the course since Christmas.


What a "Lotto" Money

The Social Club and Pitch and Putt Club have combined to establish and run a weekly Lotto, with a guaranteed Jackpot of £200 which will increase by £50 each week until won. Four numbers to be selected on each ticket and tickets are priced at £1 each. The first draw took place on the 2nd March at 10pm.


Good Luck Captains

Don’t forget! Woodlands Pitch and Putt Club Captains Mick Mitchell and Esther Ryan’s first official outing comes on Sunday 21st March on their Drive In followed by an 18 Hole Competition. We wish them the best in their year of Captaincy.
