ST MOCHUA HISTORICAL SOCIETY

With the help of some members of St. Mochua’s Historical Society, I intend to publish a book later this year. It will be a history orientated book, dealing with many historical places in North West Kildare and tell part of the Bord na Mona story. I would greatly appreciate any contribution towards the cost of the publication. Yours sincerely, John Larkin.


WOODLANDS GOLF CLUB

The Pitch and Putt Captains Drive-in took place on St. Patrick’s Day in the wind and rain. Captains Betty Dolan and James Farrell drove in to start this years competitions with the help of the Lady President Dodie Touhy, Men’s President Tommy Kenna and Golf Captains Kieran Savage and Threasa Quirke. The event was followed by a meal for all and the presentation of prizes took place later that evening. All competitions have started so please come along and support your captains.


WOODLANDS SOCIAL CLUB

The annual outing this year is to Dundalk, Co Louth and takes place on Fri 21st September. The cost for 2 nights B&B and 3 days golf is £185. (non golfers £160) Details from Ann Moore, Marie Cluskey, Barry Cluskey or phone the office @ 045 860777
