Objectives
& Targets
Early
in our programme we identified the need for a Playgroup or Create and
Youth Facilities. We also see a need to provide Community and adult education
programmes for men, women and appropriate training for young people. Community
development training will be needed to develop a shared approach to action
and to enhance local skills and community recreation and enhancing the
local environment.
The objectives of the centre are therefore to:
1. Develop the local area with the co-operation of Kildare County Council
and other agencies.
2. To provide continued parental and family support for the local community.
3. To create awareness and a shared response by the residents of the three
estates.
4. To work with the Youth and develop their potential to achieve their
goals for the future.
5. To improve our playgroup facilities.
6. To continue working towards the establishment of a purpose built centre
in the area.
7. To achieve sustainable funding for the future of the centre.
