Management
Committee/ Members
The
current Committee was elected in September 1997. They have attended management
training and have identified other courses, which will equip them with
the skills needed for the long - term management of the Community Centre.
All members of the current Committee have undertaken to attend such training.
The residents and users of the centre form the membership of the Community
Centre and elections were held by this body at its initial meeting to
select a Management Committee. In this way the Management Committee of
the LHD Community will always be representative of the residents of the
area and of the people who use the Community Centre.
The Committee has discussed the need for the LHD Community Centre to form
itself into an appropriate company and is currently seeking advice on
this matter. It is proposed that the Community Centre will adopt a suitable
constitution.
