The Shaker Store is located in the centre of the old Quaker Village of
Ballitore in the county of Kildare, Ireland. It proves the ideal
setting and location for the exhibition of Shaker Furniture which has always
been synonymous with superb quality and excellence.
35 minutes get you there if one is coming from Dublin. Located just off the N9, 28 miles
from Dublin
on the Dublin-Kildare-Carlow / Kilkenny national primary route.
A trip to the showrooms will be a memorable occasion, experience the
"Old World Charm" and
hospitality of the village. Visit the recently refurbished 17th Century house
of the famous Quaker and writer Mary
Leadbeater the beautiful courtyard and walled gardens around
the old Tanyard, the Quaker Museum and Meeting House is very interesting,
Quaker Burial Grounds , take a trip to a working Quaker Corn Mill, a very
lovely walk up a winding Mill Lane.
