Maynooth University Shortlisted for National Project Awards

The Ireland Chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI) has revealed its shortlist of contenders for this year's National Project Awards, held in partnership with PwC.

From developing state-of-the-art automated solutions to milestone projects that changed Ireland, the shortlisted finalists represent the country’s leading projects and project management personnel.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of PMI globally, the 2019 awards in the Dublin offices of PwC on 14 November will not only acknowledge the winners of the seven categories, but also the winner of a special Jubilee Award for Ireland’s most influential project over the past 50 years.

Speaking on the high calibre of projects submitted for the 2019 awards, Pat Lucey, President of the Ireland Chapter of PMI, stated: "Once again the submissions for the National Project Awards have highlighted the extraordinary work being done across the country by project managers."

While the shortlisted projects may be diverse - from the delivery of the country’s largest tourism investment to the implementation of new technology for patient care - each and every one showcases project management excellence and highlights the positive impact that the discipline has.
